After a crazy first holiday season and a much-needed break, we’re back and open for the new year! And we got a belated Christmas present:

After a lot of paperwork (and city office bungling), and with the help of our Alderman (whose office really helped us clear up all of the aforementioned bungling) we have our sign and awning.

What do you think? We’re super excited to have a brighter and more visible storefront for 2011.

We made some new booklets this week, exclusive to the shop:

Each 5×8 notebook has a chipboard cover and 28 multicolored pages. The come in warm:

They’re great for heading out to the park for sketching our journaling. Get out in the warm weather, grab a cool drink, and relax!

Up In The Air

We’ve officially been open for a month! We want to keep things always fresh and interesting in the store, so we invited Essimar to create a new window for our shop.

Esther came by with some bright and beautiful paper fruits and blooms yesterday; together we put the new display together.

She even made a giant orange slice for us!

We’re big fans of Esther’s work, and we’ve got all sorts of new Essimar products in the shop, including art prints, father’s day cards and other goodies.

Since we had one new window, we decided to change up our front window as well:

Luckily Kat came by to help us with ideas and execution.
