I Saw The Sign

Or rather… I saw it go away! This morning we arrived at the shop to see that our sign company had come and removed the existing bridal boutique sign, preparing for the future installation of our new awning and hanging sign.

This is the last signifier of the old business, and we’ve been very anxious to have it removed. Now when people pass by there will (hopefully) be less confusion about what’s going on in the space.

Later, sign.

Are you happy now, living without it? (You left it, whoa oh OH oh).

Congrats on the store progress!! I’m a local Chicago gal and can’t wait to see the final reveal of your shop 🙂

Hi – I saw the post about the radiator update and was wondering how you updated these. Did you just paint them with a certain kind of silver paint? I have ugly radiators and radiator covers and I’d like to get rid of them, but I am not sure how to make the radiators look better. And yours looked great! Thanks in advance for any information.

Hi, Mel! Our landlord painted the radiators, but we can find out if any special type of paint was used. It seems that the key to really getting a good coat on the radiators is to disconnect them and move them away from the wall – which is usually easier said then done 😉

I live in the neighborhood and would’ve loved to have bought that sign! BUT I can’t wait for you guys to open. Love watching the progress each morning.

Aww! If you had stopped by when the paper was up, we would have gladly given you the sign. See you soon!
