The sign & awning are up!

After a crazy first holiday season and a much-needed break, we’re back and open for the new year! And we got a belated Christmas present:

After a lot of paperwork (and city office bungling), and with the help of our Alderman (whose office really helped us clear up all of the aforementioned bungling) we have our sign and awning.

What do you think? We’re super excited to have a brighter and more visible storefront for 2011.

That looks terrific. Very eye-catching. I daresay you may even make a good landmark. “Turn left at that orange place, and go on down for two more blocks…”

It’s the perfect shade of orange! I’m so excited to visit your shop. I’ve been a reader of the scoop since longer than I can remember (maybe late 2007?) and I’m visiting Chicago this week. Your store is definitely at the top of my list of places I want to see!
